Meet Yuki!

Yuki is everything you need in a friend! She is loyal- once you’re part of the pack she’ll be your biggest fan. You’ve never seen anyone more excited to see that you got back safe from taking the trash out.

She is also super smart! Yuki is a fast learner and has been known to open doors, kennels, and gates, so keep an eye on that girl! This also means she loves to play games, like racing you across the yard, or playing a doggy version of hide and seek!

Yuki is a bit of an anxious pup, and like many of us when she gets anxious, she eats! Some of her most stressful times are when she is left home alone. She will defy the laws of physics to get to anything edible you leave out, which is something to be aware of when you need to leave the house.

Yuki is very patient with people, she loves hugs, cuddles, and especially tummy rubs! She is also patient with cats. She’s lived with two cats who disliked dogs and was content to keep her distance (though she did really want to be friends). She is not a big fan of other dogs, mainly because she wants to protect her pack, so if there are other dogs in the house, it would be a good idea to help them acclimatize to each other.

When you first meet Yuki, she will probably seem shy and anxious and maybe even a little timid, but she’ll warm up as you get to know her, and as she gets to know you! Once she is at home, and starts to feel settled, you’ll start to get to know her silly personality.

Yuki’s ideal home is one where she can spend lots of time with her person (or people), where she has someone to run around and be silly with, and where she won’t have to stray from the people she loves - she’ll stick to her pack, thanks!
