Happy Tails 2024

Paneer
Paneer, named for her goofy, cheesy grin, came to us as a stray puppy. No one claimed her, so we provided her with veterinary care, spaying, vaccines, and two months of shelter, play, and affection. Then came the day her thread connected to the family who had been waiting for her all along.
Monarch
Monarch was named both for her beauty and because she is a queen. Monarch did not appreciate being in the shelter with other animals and the stress was making it difficult for potential adopters to get to know her. She flourished in foster care and was finally able to be matched with someone who had recently lost their feisty kitty and who was ready to take on another cat with similar strong opinions. A royal match, indeed!
Mugs
Meet Mugs. His thread wound through our doors and into our hearts. Found as a stray in May 2024, reunited with his owner, then surrendered back to us when circumstances changed. For nearly a year, Mugs waited. Our staff fell in love with his gentle spirit, and he became a shelter favorite. But Mugs needed more than our love. He needed a home to call his own. This April, his thread finally led him to a family who adores him. They tell us he's thriving, a cherished member of their household at last.
Kuzco
Little Kuzco the guinea pig arrived with his siblings when his family could no longer care for them. In foster care, he received the love and socialization he needed, and within a month, he and his brother found their forever home together.
