Kindness Kids Club
Heartland Humane Society welcomes youth volunteers of all ages. Of course, youth volunteers are to be under adult supervision while helping around the shelter. We are happy to provide an after-school supervised youth program that allows youth ages 8 to 15 years gain experience working with animals though volunteering opportunities.
Meets Every Wednesday
3:45pm-5:30pm, Sept. - June
For youth ages 8 to 15 years old
During Kindness Kids' Club, youth participate in daily tasks such as afternoon feeding, potty walks, and animal socialization, while learning compassion and leadership skills.
